About/Contact Us

Boomers on the Beach is an Adelaide retro licensed café located in the historic Glenelg Town Hall, Glenelg, South Australia (SA). We promote SA produce, seafood, wine, beer, art and music. Our beachfront café has spectacular views of the foreshore and jetty, with stunning sunsets over Holdfast Bay. The new foreshore playground is directly out front, so enjoy something to eat or drink whilst watching your children play.

Our reputation is growing for our in house smoked fish and bacon, which is offered in various dishes. We only sell SA wines, something we are proud of, and with many SA brewery’s popping up in and around Adelaide, we like to showcase them too by selling their craft beer.

Our walls are lined with artwork for sale created by local artists, therefore our décor is constantly changing. So if you like what you see, artworks can be delivered anywhere in Australia to your door at cost, if you are unable to take it with you.

Our funky collectibles include a great selection of Australian made tables and chairs from the 1950s, 60s and 70s that some of you may remember eating off when you were young. As we think sustainably, ethically and like to recycle – don’t be alarmed when we tell you, you are eating off the floor – as our outside tables are made from recycled timber floorboards from the old Pasadena Basketball stadium.

So the next time you are heading ‘down the bay’, come in and see us, at “Boomers on the Beach”.
